✨ Understanding Homelessness: A Community Conversation ✨

As part of UTC’s First Year Composition Program in collaboration with UTC English, the Honors College, and the College of Arts & Sciences, students are reading When We Walk By by Kevin Adler and Donald Burnes — a powerful exploration of homelessness in America through personal stories and systemic insight.
To deepen this conversation, we’re hosting a panel discussion on Homelessness featuring local advocates and organizations working directly with our unhoused neighbors. Please join us for a moderated conversation and student Q&A. All are welcome!

Thursday, October 23
5:00–7:00 PM
Guerry Center, UTC Campus

Support our community!
Students are organizing a donation drive to benefit the Chattanooga Community Kitchen. You can donate at the panel discussion, movie night, writers’ showcase, or by contacting Sheena Monds at Sheena-Monds@utc.edu
