Symposium on Rule of Law, sponsored by Prof. Deardorff, Ochs Professor of Government, in partnership with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. All sessions will be held in the Guerry Hall Reading Room. Students participating in all five sessions will receive a t-shirt and certificate on Rule of Law:

  • 9:30-10:45         A Day in the Life with Federal Judges McDonough and Dumitru

  • 12:30-1:45         Panel of Federal Judges

  • 2:00-3:15           Media and the Judiciary

  • 3:30-4:45           Contemporary Challenges to Rule of Law with Drs. Deardorff and Samuel
