Join Orion magazine, Radiolab, and Lambda Literary to celebrate the launch of Orion’s spring 2025 issue, Queer Planet: A Celebration of Biodiversity. This virtual event will feature two contributors from the issue—award-winning writer Sabrina Imbler (How Far the Light Reaches) and Grammy-winning artist Amy Ray (Indigo Girls)—in a conversation moderated by Lulu Miller, co-host of Radiolab, contributing editor at Orion, and guest editor of Queer Planet.

This issue of Orion explores the ways that the more-than-human world has always been queer, and that such queerness is a key component of adaptation, evolution, and collective survival. Featuring contributions from adrienne maree brown, Ocean Vuong, Kristen Arnett, Carmen Maria Machado, and this event’s panelists, the issue is an exuberant celebration of queerness in nature.
