Whether you're a developer, designer, marketer, content editor, project manager, or just curious about building for the web — Open Source Camp Chattanooga is for you.

UTC students, faculty and staff can attend for free. Register for the event at https://www.drupalcampchattanooga.com.

This annual event brings together a vibrant mix of people working with open source tools and technologies — from Drupal, Laravel and WordPress to JavaScript frameworks, UX/UI, AI, and everything in between. It’s a welcoming space to learn, connect, and grow, no matter your skill level or focus.

Lunch, Coffee and snacks are included.

Bring a laptop, business cards and a willingness to learn.

Saturday Camp: Park in Lupton Hall Garage (Lot 12) on Vine Street and enter the Library from the entrance off of Chamberlain Field (near Starbucks).

Accessible Parking is avalailable in the Lower Lupton Garage, at the roundabout on Vine Street.

Optional Training Day

We will have full day (Friday 13th Nov) training on Open Source Technologies for Laravel, WordPress, and Drupal.

Trainings will be held on Friday Nov 13th. Training and the main camp on Sat Nov 14th are both at the UTC library for 2026.

Trainings start at 9 AM.

Friday Trainings: Park in the Visitor Parking Garage (Garage 31) on Mocs Alumni Drive and walk SW to the Library entrance on Douglas Street.

The trainings Absolute Beginners guide to Drupal,  WordPress in a Day, and Introduction to Laravel are optional extras on Friday.
It is possible to do both Laravel (afternoon session) and WordPress (morning session) on Friday, but Drupal will take the whole day.

Don't forget to come the the after party too. (TBA)

Anyone with an open source talk, reach out to Lee Walker.

Code Journeymen will buy your first beer/wine/whatever.

A big part of these camps is meeting new people, and reconnecting with old friends. Don't miss the social events.
