Grades and test scores matter—but they’re only part of the story. Join us for an inside look at how medical schools evaluate personal statements, secondary essays, and other written components of the application.

This session is the second part of our personal statement series and builds on concepts introduced in Personal Statement 101, though attendance at the first session is not required.

Representatives from Morehouse School of Medicine will share what admissions committees are really looking for when reading applications, including how to clearly communicate your motivation for medicine, reflect meaningfully on your experiences, and avoid common writing pitfalls.

Open to students at any stage of the pre-med journey, this session will help you move beyond the numbers and present yourself as a thoughtful, mission-driven future physician.
