Curious about what mental health care really looks like inside a hospital setting? Join us for a panel discussion with a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, and counselor from Parkridge Mental Health Therapy Center as they break down the day-to-day realities of hospital-based psychiatric care. Speakers will discuss their individual roles, how interdisciplinary psychiatric teams collaborate, and the different educational and career pathways that lead to this work.

This event is open to students interested in MD, PA, BSN, and NP roles in mental health, as well as those exploring clinical psychology and counseling careers. Whether you’re early in your pre-health journey or narrowing your professional focus, this session will offer honest insight into team dynamics, training routes, and what it’s really like to care for patients in acute mental health settings.
