This is an opportunity to attend online training through the Walker Center on how to make PDFs accessible with Adobe Acrobat. This will be open to all faculty and staff, so please spread the word! Heather Thach will be our presenter. 

Here’s a brief outline of what will be covered:

• Tag the entire PDF so screen readers can interpret the structure.

• Apply heading styles in a logical order. 

• Add alternative text.

• Check and correct color contrast issues.

• Make sure tables have header rows identified.

• Embed a document title in the file properties.

• Set the document language in the file properties.
