UTC students are invited to participate in the Chancellor’s Tartan Challenge, a collaborative design competition focused on creating a tartan inspired by UTC’s history, people, and future. 

A tartan is a woven plaid pattern traditionally used to represent identity and heritage. Through a series of collaborative workshops and team-based design sessions, students will research, design, and pitch original tartan concepts that reflect the spirit of UTC. 

No textile experience is required. Students from all creative backgrounds are encouraged to participate.

$1,000 scholarship per member of winning team.
